When I first started writing this blog, I was attending Huntington University and staying in a dorm called Livingston. Thus, the name of the blog at the time was a pun on the dorm name, but also coming form 1 Peter 2:4-5
4 As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, 5 you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 2:4-5
Years later, the term living stones has become something more.
Like steppingstones in a garden, our lives are filled with those around us who will lead us in various directions as we live our lives. These people could also in a way be called living stones.
A Path of Living Stones explores the people and scriptures that have over the years lead me to where I am today and where I am going in the future. Along the way there are spectacular views and humbling lows. All of which are leading and building up the house of God.
I invite you to join me as I continue the path that is the Christian walk filled with living stones, being built as a spiritual house before God.
