While Thursday May 7, 2020 is he National Day of Prayer. As such will you join me a thousands of others in praying for our nation, wherever you are.
Father God,
I pray today over our nation as a whole. Unite us as one. Cleans us from our sins and turn us back to you.
I pray over our leadership, The mayors, governors, and those in Washington. Allow them to make decisions that are wise and guided by you. Help us to realize that they are human and therefor not perfect and will not always make decisions we find helpful.
Father I pray over the pastors of this nation and around the world. Encourage them to continue the work for you even when life gets hard. Remind them of your calling on their lives. Fill them with hope and love as they pour out themselves for their congregations and communities.
Lastly Lord, I pray over us as mankind. Lord help those who know you to spread the Good News of your death and resurrection for our sins to the nations even in this time of social distancing. We are imperfect, but you have us covered by your blood, sot that one day we may be perfect in your kingdom above. Renew our spirits in hope and love in these dark times. May we see the light at the end of this tunnel.
