Journey to the Cross part 13

WWJD aka What Would Jesus Do?

I hate to say it, but when I hear this phrase I roll my eyes. It is one of those phrases that in ministry are on the outs and is not really used anymore. However as I end the Journey to the Cross series, we need to figure out what next.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.                        —Matthew 16:24

This season is a prime time to consider not only, WWJD but WWYDWJ.

As this Easter weekend comes upon us, what will you do with Jesus.

Will you bring him out in different traditions that you do this weekend, then put him back on the shelf, or will you set him out for all to see, will you bring him out at all?
